If you like Synths

by Barnz

Gamble & Burke are two strapping young lads from Boston who love the cool groove of a good synth. GRUM is a strapping young lad from Leeds who definately loves the cool grooves of a good synth. Put these two together and you have the coolest of the cool grooves of the ultimate synth. Enjoi.

mega mega mega

by jake

A perfect contrast to the current weather we’re experiencing in Melbourne. Warm, dry and somewhat tribal?

Count & Sinden have been working on their debut album ‘Mega Mega Mega’ for sometime now and after hearing their collaboration with Mystery Jets on ‘After Dark’ it became so much more anticipated. Inspired and derived from sounds they personally recorded from jungles surrounding Southern America (this is a lie) they incorporate the perfect amount of Jungle disco to ‘Panther’ and ‘Addicted to You’

Please enjoy and zumba.

under the sea

by J Heasy

Larry Tee was awesome on Saturday, best i’ve seen in a while! What made it more exciting was when he dropped Swick’s ‘Rules of Vuvuzela’ mid set which had everyone “woot wooting”. My boy just hit me up with another fun edit, the genre of it he claimed as “When you want to pick up little 16 year old girls”.

Under The Sea – Swick by swickswick

It’s fun and Swicky/Sticky just like a 16 year old girl is I guess.

Disko

by Barron

Been trying to get my hands on this for a while but all I could find was shitty M.O.S – Destroy Rips. Enjoy it, really is a fucking CHOOOOOON.

For those not in the know.. Bobermann is acually one half of the Bloody Beetroots. I know by just dropping that, dowloads will increase by a few hundred…

Larry!

by Barron

I’m not gonna lie here, I thought Larry Tee was a piece of shit DJ.. well that is until last night at the ever so sweaty After Dark Social Club @ Roxxanne! He hands down played one of the best sets I’ve ever heard live or recorded.. There’s only one way to comprehend it, imagine getting finger bashed by jesus.. now double the enlightenment.

This is one of the tracks that the man dropped, which took things to a new level.

You Know You Love Me

by J Heasy

TFU has become widespread and is oh so popular at the present time.
Every rap song ever has now been bootlegged into a TFU banger.

So I bootlegged Justin Bieber cause I can and to put a spin on things and got called a homo by muzzas.
How about you see the funny side of things and watch me laugh at you when you run out of rap songs to bootleg and end up playing my ‘homo’ one.

Good luck finding some new clothes to wear too now Ed Hardy has been placed into administration (no more ed hardy).

So for those of you actually want this/see the fun side of it, you may download it homies!

We No Speak Mexican

by jake

Fresh off the boat from his Mexican tour, Rob Pix was granted remixing duties on the chart dominant ‘We No Speak Americano’.

It sounds almost nothing like the original but in parts, subtly reminds you it’s an americano remix.
Screams ‘big room’ so if you’re looking to pull this off please be playing in a warehouse rave or just have your shirt off.. either of which will suffice.

Get Rob Pix’s ‘Head Drop’ on beatport here. or you can basically stalk him on his website.

silvia

by jake

Was lucky enough to catch Miike Snow last Tuesday at the Hi-Fi bar in the city. Was a lot more atmospheric than I expected. Played majority of their album.. except ‘A Song For No One’ which happens to be my favourite track on the album..

Played an alternate version of Silvia.. was pretty intense.
