Were all eagerly awaiting the release of the Crookers latest long-play installment ‘We Love Animals’. In light of this much anticipated LP, Phra & Bot have been given prestigious remix duties from English rockstar Robbie Williams.
I can assure you this is better than their ‘Sexy Bitch’ remix. Words cant describe the sound of indigestion but this track sums it up pretty appropriately. Keep an eye of out for their EP coming in the next few weeks!

Kudos to Crookers for finally realizing that they’ve lost touch with the mainstream world and made an effort to stimulate our cheesy brains with a nice and simple vocal remix. Tonight Christian Luke Does the Burbs @ Mynt and Rob Pix turns 45, then I go into hibernation until Monday morning when the crew and myself jetset to the Gold Coast for the Unlucky Schoolies Tour, then onto Byron Bay to play and party some more! Back to Mynt for the usual weekly fun and then Stereosonic!!

It’s pretty clear that the Crookers have found new musical direction, acquired new aspiration or simply; just ate a lemon. Theres still much debate whether this new ‘approach’ will be as successful as ‘Day N Night, The Salmon Dance’ etc. But I say.. They’ve distinguished themselves in the industry, they can do whatever they want. Whether it’s fire or whether it’s absolute horseshit.. it’ll be downloaded 44000 times and see more exposure then Britney’s snatch. I for one embrace the dubstep with open arms.. it be baby makin’ music.

Passion Pit’s ‘Little Secrets’ has received more remix treatment from the likes of Felix Da Housecat, Jaymo & Andy George as well as L-Vis 1990. Let me just tell you, when you get your hands on the FDH remix it will basically teleport you to a world made of marshmellows, inhabited only by bunnies and rising riffs with the only food source being love and tenderness. Keep an eye out.

I’m looking forward to turning on the radio and hearing this every 0.7 hours. After the success of ‘Memories’ on (god forbid me say it) David Guetta’s ‘One Love’, Kid Cudi is back with ‘Enter Galactic’. Pretty disapointed in my own song finding skills because I could only get you a radio rip, but i’m sure you will enjoy it nonetheless.. it’s catchy as hell.
I’ve had a nice long listen to the Crookers new LP ‘Put Your Hands On Me’. I’m not sure if they’ve turned a corner but I certainly didn’t expect to hear anything remotely close to these following tracks. As I’m sure you’re aware of, I’m a sucka for some good vocal work on a track.. both impress me, especially Transilvania.
